Learn What Actually Works in Production

After fifteen years of creating 3D content for clients ranging from indie game studios to major film productions, we've seen what separates good animators from great ones. It's not just technical skill—though that matters plenty. It's understanding how to solve problems when software crashes at 2 AM, how to create compelling motion that serves a story, and how to work efficiently under real deadlines.

This program grew out of countless conversations with students who felt lost between YouTube tutorials and university theory. We wanted something different: practical training that mirrors how professional studios actually work.

  • Master industry-standard software through real project workflows
  • Build a professional portfolio with guidance from working animators
  • Learn problem-solving techniques that studios actually use
  • Understand the business side of 3D animation and client relationships
  • Network with peers and professionals in small, focused cohorts

Your Journey Through the Program

1

Foundation & Tool Mastery

We start with the fundamentals that trip up most beginners—proper scene organization, efficient modeling workflows, and understanding how different software packages talk to each other. You'll work on your first character model while learning industry naming conventions and file management practices that will save you hours later.

Months 1-2
2

Animation Principles in Practice

This is where things get interesting. We dive deep into the twelve principles of animation, but through the lens of 3D work. You'll animate a bouncing ball, sure—but also learn why your walk cycles feel mechanical and how to add the subtle imperfections that make movement feel alive. Character rigging starts here too.

Months 3-4
3

Advanced Techniques & Specialization

Choose your path: character animation for games, architectural visualization, motion graphics, or VFX integration. This is where you'll tackle more complex projects and start building the portfolio pieces that will define your specialty. We also cover freelance basics and how to work with difficult clients.

Months 5-6
4

Portfolio Development & Professional Practice

Your final months focus on creating three polished pieces that showcase your abilities. We'll help you understand what employers actually look for in portfolios, how to present your work effectively, and the realities of different career paths in 3D animation. Mock interviews and portfolio reviews prepare you for what comes next.
